Regional Digital Marketing Coordinator

What we’re looking for…

  • OEC Group is looking for a Regional Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Regional Marketing department in the New York office.
  • The ideal candidate is someone with an educational background and/or work experience related to the field of Marketing. Open to looking at both entry level and experienced candidates (1-3 years of experience).
  • Primary responsibilities include coordinating marketing projects and activities for the East Coast region.

You will receive training on the daily operations of your position to understand the Freight Forwarding industry. While training, you’ll work one on one with your Supervisor or Manager, while also shadowing senior members of your department.

About the Position

Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Coordinates the creation and production of marketing materials.
  • Maintains customer database and generates internal database information, such as lists and counts for direct marketing projects.
  • Compiles and produces Sales and Marketing reports through the CRM Sugar.
  • Tracks, collates, and maintains inventory of marketing materials.
  • Create daily content for multiple social media platforms through Hootsuite.  
  • Build social media creative imagery for daily content.
  • Find and implement new social strategies, tool and tactics as they develop.
  • Developing and evaluating effective benchmarks to measure the impact of social media marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct market research analysis to identify search query trends, real-time search and news media activity, popular social media topics, market opportunities, or competitor performance.
  • Analyze market or customer related data.

New York Office 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications is preferred.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate should have prior experience using Microsoft Excel in particular.
